Heat the olive oil in a pan.
Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pan and sauté for 5 minutes.

Add the black beans and chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook for 5 minutes.
Brush a baking tray with oil.
Place the tortilla on the tray and add the bean mixture, then top with cheese.
