
R-Citrus Cream Cheese Toast
A simple, tasty, and indulgent breakfast featuring creamy almond cheese blended with fresh orange zest and juice, piled high on crunchy walnut sourdough. Oranges are packed with Vitamin C, making this a bright and healthy start to your day.
Ingredients

- sourdough bread1 slice
Preferably walnut sourdough.
- Aalmond cream cheese30 g
- agave nectar1 tbsp
- Ddate syrup5 ml
- pistachios10 g

Chef's Tips
For a richer flavour, lightly toast the pistachios in a dry pan before chopping and sprinkling.
If you don't have almond cream cheese, you can substitute it with Greek yogurt or plain soft cheese for a similar creamy texture.
Prepare the Orange
Carefully peel and segment half of the orange. Zest a small amount of the peel and squeeze out 1 tablespoon (15ml) of the juice.
Make the Cream Cheese Spread
In a small bowl, combine the almond cream cheese, the orange zest, the orange juice, and the agave nectar. Mix thoroughly until smooth and creamy.
Toast the Bread
Toast the slice of sourdough bread until golden and crisp.
Assemble the Toast
Spread the prepared citrus cream cheese mixture evenly over the toasted sourdough slice. Arrange the orange segments on top of the cream cheese.
Finish and Serve
Roughly chop the pistachios and sprinkle them over the orange segments. Drizzle the date syrup over the top of the toast before serving immediately.
