Tips for Best Results
✅ Use the full recipe URL - Make sure you're on the actual recipe page, not the homepage
✅ Multiple recipes on one page? - Flamyay will import the main recipe on the page
✅ Recipe not importing correctly? - Try the "Paste recipe text" option instead (copy the text manually)
Troubleshooting
"Please enter a valid URL" error?
Make sure your URL starts with http:// or https://. If you copied just the domain (like example.com), add https:// in front.

What about recipe sites with subscriptions or paywalls?
Flamyay works with publicly accessible recipes. If a recipe is behind a paywall or requires a subscription to view, you won't be able to import it unless the content is publicly visible.
Can I import recipes from websites in other languages?
Yes! Flamyay supports recipes in any language. Our AI can extract and structure recipes from websites in French, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese, and many more languages.
What if the website has multiple recipes on one page?
Flamyay will import the main recipe on the page. If there are multiple distinct recipes, you'll need to navigate to each recipe's individual page and import them separately.
Why didn't all the recipe information import correctly?
Some websites format their recipes in unusual ways that can be tricky to parse. If information is missing or incorrect, please contact our support team at [email protected] and we'll help fix the recipe for you.
Can I use Flamyay as a browser extension?
Currently, Flamyay works through the iOS share sheet or by pasting URLs in the mobile app. A browser extension is on our roadmap! For now, the share sheet method is quick and easy.
Does importing work with recipe videos on websites?
Yes! Flamyay extracts the recipe text and ingredients from video recipe pages. The written recipe details are what get imported - the actual video stays on the original site.
